Overview

ASI Church Management System is a desktop-first Zoho Creator application for churches to keep reliable records of Members, Guests/Visitors, Events & Programs, and Attendance, plus simple reporting and a live dashboard.

Note: Church Settings is a single-record configuration. Only one record is allowed.

Getting Started

  1. Open Church Settings
    Go to Administration → Church Settings and complete your church information (legal name, short name, address, contacts).

    • Only one Church Settings record is permitted.

  2. Add Users (Administrator)
    Access is managed by your organization’s Zoho admin. The application currently uses a single role: Administrator.

  3. Verify the Live Dashboard
    Open Live Dashboard to confirm your environment loads and main reports are visible.


Everyday Tasks

Add a Member

  1. People & Groups → Members → New

  2. Enter details and Save.

Record a Guest/Visitor

  1. People & Groups → Guests → New

  2. Enter details and Save.

Create an Event/Program

  1. Events & Programs → Events → New

  2. Enter details (name, date/time, location) and Save.

Capture Attendance

  1. Attendance → New

  2. Select the event, pick the person, and Save. Repeat as needed.


Reports & Dashboard

  • Reports are available directly from each module’s menu (Members, Guests, Events, Attendance).

  • The Live Dashboard provides direct access to the main reports in full.

  • Use the module reports when you need lists and exports; use the Live Dashboard for at-a-glance access to key reports.


Imports & Exports

  • Open the relevant module’s Report page (e.g., Members, Guests, Events, Attendance).

  • Click the Import/Export button.

  • Follow the on-screen guidance to import data or export CSV files.

Tip: Start by downloading the sample file from the Import dialog to understand the required headers.


Yearly Data Refresh

At the start of a new year, continue entering new records as usual. Historical data remains available through the module reports and the Live Dashboard’s linked reports.


System Updates (Changelog)

The System Updates page is for viewing changes to the application.
Changelogs are prepared and published by ASI. Churches do not create changelog entries.
